The Love of Life, a Feature Film
Skysteelplanet is currently casting for its independent comedy feature called, The Love of Life, about a young man who strives to be better than his alcoholic father. Shockingly in a twist of fate, he ends up homeless. Luckily, however, he meets another fellow who appears to be homeless like him, except this guy is blissfully happy. Tagging along, our hero discovers the secret to the man's joy and obtains the true peace he seeks. The story has a deep spiritual message designed to help people wake up to the real meaning of life. We wish to present this in a funny, humorous manner, as well as provide viewers with an inspiration for greatness. Life is meant to be enjoyed, not burdened.

Character Roles:
Gurpit - 20-30's, Young middle eastern man, shy, good hearted. Wants to be better than his father.
Chad - 25-35, Pleasant carefree individual. Good looking caucasian. Sees the good in everything. Helps Gurpit discover true happiness from within.
Cindy - 20's, Pretty "good girl" who marries Gurpit, but cheats!
Shay - 20-30's, Sweet girl with a good pleasant personality. Befriends Gurpit and Chad.
Anna - 20-30's, Gurpit's new lover.
Gurpit's parents - 40+ Julie a former hooter's girl and Bill, alcoholic deadbeat.
Bacci - 20-30's, Strong, Successful restaurant owner. Moral character, Strict about work and money, loner.
Bacci's Parents - 55+ Strict indian parents who believe firmly in college education. Mother knows jadoo(magic). Father likes beer, and then causing trouble with his partner in crime.
Mike West - 55+, Fat Irish marine vet. Overweight, grey hair with full beard. Suicidal.
Lewis - 40-50's, Puerto Rican fatman. Sporting goods store manager with a Americanized gangster accent. Carefree womanizer with no shame, pushy salesman.
Alfredo - 30's, Puerto Rican store manager at sporting goods store. Has funny sense of humor.
Cara - 30's, Alfredo's right hand woman.
Duane - 30's, Tall fat homosexual women's shoe manager. Very demanding, likes to spy on employees on security cam. Eats like a hippo.
Joji - 30's, Mumbai indian bad boy who works as a women's shoe salesman. Slacker, calls friends on company phone and spends his time checking out women or finding ways to avoid work.
Felip - 30's indian looking. Proud man with mustache. Joji's friend.
Rick - 40's, Cashier at department store. Depressed, ready to snap any moment.
Feria - 18+, cashier.
Pat - 18+, sales associate.
Swami D - Old mystical guru.

Filming is scheduled in Orlando, and Winter Park, Fl. Many extras are needed to fill in minor roles and bystanders in scenes. All ages and back rounds welcome.
